Happy National School Librarian Day to our amazing librarians at D50! #HarvardRising

Mrs. Hay’s 4th Grade class read two books in March. The girls read How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O’Connor. The boys read Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary. For an end-of-the-book project, the two groups decided to each write a play based on one chapter for their book. Each group wrote the script, built props, rehearsed, and performed the plays for a limited audience. The students worked very well together. There are many talented and creative 4th graders at Jefferson!!

Congratulations to all of the Jefferson students who received Shout-Outs from staff in the 3rd quarter.

(Post 2 of 2) It's already the end of the 3rd quarter! Jefferson students enjoyed their Hawaiian themed celebration with limbo, beachball volleyball, and a photo booth in the gym and hot potato, coloring pages, and a drum circle in the library. Everyone looked ready for the beach in their Hawaiian print shirts and the leis they bought with bee bucks from our amazing student council. Keep up the great work everyone! #HarvardRising
