This week Mrs. Binz is taking the Library Classes on a walking field trip to Harvard Diggins Library. The students are learning about the Free Summer Reading Club, the free activities that are included, how to get library cards, and they are going on a scavenger hunt while they're there! Be sure to ask your child about the million pennies! Thank you so much to Mrs. Karen (Sutera) for showing us around and for accommodating our early classes.

Mrs. Kruckenberg’s 5th grade class had a fantastic time at Glacial Park today. We learned about all the glacial formations. Walked to the top of a kame, learned about how the glaciers moved and how it formed our land, used the new observation deck on the bog and marsh. We also learned about predator and prey. Examined scat and saw a snake. Thank you McHenry County Conservation District for this great field study! Glacial Park has so much more to see. Great family trip for a weekend or summer.
