Mrs. Hay's 4th grade class walked to By the Dozen Bakery for a smiley face cookie. Students saved up classroom Bee Bucks they earned by following school expectations. They also stopped and took a picture with Harmilda. It was a beautiful day! 🍪 #JeffersonJourney🐝

💡Mrs. Kruckenberg says, "Writing across all curricular areas is important. We are examining how written language has evolved and acknowledge how important visual representation are to our understanding. Students created theme stick figure pages and created timelines of their lives alongside a visual representation. One image to represent one written idea that can be turned into an oral story." It is so fun to use so many modalities to share stories!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
