Mr. Villazon’s students played a few rounds of Heads Up 7 Up after working hard and doing their best on their math NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) state test.

Students are working on solving tangram puzzles with Mrs. Rosales. Tangram puzzles are made up of 7 geometric shapes called tans. Students move and rearrange the pieces without overlapping to create new shapes. This is a great way for students to work on problem solving and creativity.

Jefferson's students have been learning about copywrite, plagerism, and fair use in their library class with Miss Nelson. They created gingerbread characters based on their favorite book characters and cited the book source information on the back.

Today, Ms. Christine and Ms. Ana from the McHenry County Conservation District presented the "Chains Make Webs" program in Ms. Kee's classroom. The students used picture cards to create a food web with yarn. We are so thankful for all the free programs MCCD offers!
