Mrs. Kruckenberg’s class started out the day by using inquiry skills to investigate $1 and $2 bills along with the history of cash money and coins. 💵 Did you know Ben Franklin designed the first paper money printed during the American Revolution?! 🤯This activity was followed by some application of decimals in real life scenarios using money and decimals. They had a fantastic finish to Math with a few intense rounds of decimal tic tac toe!

Mrs. Julie and Ms. Ashly stopped by some 4th grade classrooms to teach a lesson on taking responsibility for your own actions. They read a story and then facilitated some problem solving activities. 🤝

Fourth graders in STEM this week learn about erosion answering the question: will a mountain last forever? They experiment with sugar cubes and recreate a stone falling down a mountain to find it smooths out and breaks apart! ⛰️
