Three of Jefferson's students worked very hard to save THREE HUNDRED Bee Bucks to earn a ride to school on a fire truck! They earned the Bee Bucks by following expectations and being respectful, responsible and safe! Keep up the great work! #HarvardRising

Ms. Cartland's small groups are practicing Spanish verbs and verb conjugations using a memory matching game. #HarvardRising

Ms. Velázquez's ESL (English as a second language) students are learning about emotions. They played an emotion memory game and then an emotion board game with a partner. #HarvardRising

Ms. Garcia and Ms. Susnis’ homerooms had to the opportunity to zoom with Ranger Michael from Yellowstone National Park to explore the park and the western region of the United States. Students asked a lot of questions and heard about the “Every kid outdoors” program. This is a program where 4th graders can get a free pass to all national parks, lands, and waters through August 2023. Jefferson's library has many cookbooks that are made so kids can easily learn to cook! One of our 5th graders took one home and made pizza with his family! What a great way to learn something new and have family time together! #HarvardRising

Girls on the Run registration begins January 25, 2023 at 10:00 am. You can register at gotrnwil.org. Mark your calendars, spots fill fast!

Girls on the Run registration will be opening soon! The season will be March 6-May 25. Practices will be Mondays and Thursdays 3-4:30. The 5K will be the weekend of May 20!! Check out the website ( https://www.gotrnwil.org/ ) or contact Erin Kruckenberg at Jefferson for more information.

Harvard Hornets Youth Cheerleading Clinic sign up forms will be going home with Jefferson's students today. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher if they did not get one and would like to participate.
