Harvard Community Unit School District 50 proudly serves the children of the greater Harvard area. The district educates more than 2,500 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. Harvard CUSD 50 features a dual language program, one-to-one computing, advanced building trades curriculum, modern STEM classes, and yearly summer camps. The community of Harvard has a population of 9,000 and is located 70 miles northwest of Chicago.

Our district serves a diverse student body and is committed to providing a culture of excellence. We have a growing dual language program where students learn in Spanish and English. The goal of this program is for students to become bilingual, biliterate, and multicultural. We are seeking qualified Spanish-speaking candidates to teach in our program in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Special Education, Junior High, and High School.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Eligible to obtain an Illinois teaching license (the district can assist with this process!)
