Reminiscing about April and a wonderful excursion to celebrate Earth Day and National Poetry Month. Students in Ms. Susnis' and Ms. Garcia's classes wrote Haikus for the Earth in English and Spanish and read them aloud to their friends. They had time to play a little bit at the park afterwards. What a wonderful day it was!

Jefferson 5th graders had the opportunity to hear about different careers yesterday! It was a great experience! We had parents, grandparents, and siblings talk about the pathways and opportunities from a wide variety of careers. Students had hands-on experiences, asked questions, and learned about so many things. We thank all of the volunteers that took time out of their day to spend some time at our school! #HarvardRising
