Students in Ms. Rivera's and Mrs. Pecoraro's class are learning how to make connections to stories in Spanish class!

Mrs. Garay & Ms. Mercado's classes earned a stuffy celebration by being respectful, responsible, and safe in their specials classes. Students had lots of fun. Great job! #CrosBees

Mrs. Chupich’s class explored beginning sounds of A and B while using apples to create bugs. A great sensory exploration! #CrosBees

En la clase de ciencias de Ms. López los estudiantes están aprendiendo acerca de diferentes inventos y descubrimientos del pasado. Han podido investigar sobre cómo leen las personas ciegas y utilizar un libro escrito en Braille, ¡qué interesante!

Miss Iden & Sra. Kristi Juarez’s classes bridged learning about body parts and their names. We enjoyed drawing our classmates and talking about the names like head, shoulders, knees and toes. #CrosBees

Students in Mrs. Garay and Ms. Mercado's class work with a "Brain Buddy" to learn about patterns in numbers. After being given an open-ended question involving skip counting by 5's, the brain buddies work together at their thinking boards to solve the problem. After partner work time, students walk around the room to share how they solved the problem with their classmates. #Collaboration #CrosBees

In Ms. Moore's class we often work on strategies to help us stay ready to learn. It is great when students advocate for one of our strategies. The strategy requested was to watch and listen to aquarium relaxing music. #CrosBees

Homecoming Week is almost here! 🎉 Check out our spirit days for next week and let’s have some fun showing our school pride! 🐝💛🖤

Mrs. Jimenez's class is focusing on the importance of respect to create a healthy and safe environment. They're learning the value of using kind words, active listening, and teamwork. Together, they're building a positive and supportive classroom community! 💖#Empathy #CrosBees

In Science Mrs. Nulle's class has been practicing what it takes to be a scientist by using our senses on a nature walk and using magnifying glasses to look closely and explore various objects. #HarvardPOG #CriticalLearner #CrosBees

Mrs. Peceniak's Kindergarten Class is working hard on learning numbers and number sense. We played the disappearing numbers game with a partner as we practiced number recognition, number order, and more/less. We are learning how to collaborate with our peers and take turns as we grow our big beautiful brains! #HarvardPOG #Collaboration #CrosBees
