Students in Mrs. Juarez's class worked in small groups to complete a character chart for The Tale of King Midas. (Benchmark Unit 2) #CrosBees

Our kindergarten scientists have been busy learning all about weather!
Over the past four days, we headed outside to explore with our thermometers and observe the different types of weather in real time. Such a fun and hands-on way to learn! 🌦️🌤️🌧️ #HarvardRising #CrosBees

This morning we had the honor of celebrating our veterans with a special breakfast and program. Thank you to all the veterans who joined us and to all who have served—your courage, sacrifice, and dedication mean so much to our community. We also want to give a big thank you to our second graders and members of the high school band for their wonderful performance that made the morning so meaningful and memorable. ❤️💙

Mrs. Juarez’s class had fun dressing up for their fall celebration 🎃

Students in the Tulip Room enjoyed doing different fall themed centers for our fall party!

Ms. Brady's students learned about pumpkins and then painted them.

Ms. Serrano's life skills students carved a pumpkin and were able to use their fine motor skills to dig the pumpkin guts out! Students were able to feel, smell, and touch the seeds and have fun taking turns :) Happy Halloween! 🎃

💛 Happy Principal Appreciation Week! 💛

In Mrs. Eade’s class, we have been having a blast using our white board tables this school year! Here you can see some students working on math games for centers! We also like to share our ideas and write graphic organizers on them! We have also been doing a great job using our writing center to help revise our writing. Way to go 2nd graders! 💛🖤

🌤️ We’re so proud of our very own 2nd grade student, Diego! 🌟
He had the amazing opportunity to be the WGN Friday Forecaster and did an outstanding job presenting the weather! ⛅👏
Way to go, Diego — your Crosby family is so proud of you! 🖤💛

Wonderful world of math! With our kindergarden students we have been exploring that math is everywhere and they are learning how to count, represent and compare numbers and groups.

In science class, while learning about social and group behavior of animals, Mrs. Juarez's class and Ms. Spraker's class explored the differences in hunting in groups and hunting alone with pasta shells. Students were able to see the benefits of belonging to a group.

Students in Mrs. Nulle's class enjoyed all the dress up days for Homecoming!

In our Kindergarten Dual Program, we explored science vocabulary through TPR (Total Physical Response). The students played a fun game of charades, using the TPR gestures they had learned in class to guess the science words. (Tulip Room)
