MCSEEP came in this week to teach the third grade classes more about water and how to conserve it. Mrs. Ewart's class enjoyed learning how water travels from the ground to the faucet. They also loved making bracelets that represent the water cycle. #CrosBees

🐾✨ Students and staff had a fantastic time at today’s assembly with Animal Quest! 🦎🦉 We loved learning about different animals and even got to see some up close! Thank you to the high school girls' soccer team for joining us and making the experience even more special! ⚽
In Ms. Tati Porras' class, Fridays will focus on reinforcing learning in a dynamic and creative way—just the way students like it—through ELA/SLA and Math. #CrosBees
☘️Mrs. Eade's second graders worked hard on constructing leprechaun traps! We didn't catch any leprechauns, but we sure had fun working together. We first created a story on how we would catch a leprechaun. From there, we created a draft of our plan for our traps. Then, once their plan got the stamp of approval they chose their materials and got building! ☘️ #CrosBees #Collaboration
Students in Ms. Differding's class had a great time participating in fun activities to learn about non-standard measurement rules. They used different units to measure a variety of objects. #CrosBees
WICOR in action! Students in Mr. VanFleet's class practiced their oracy skills by implementing the strategy Lines of Communication. They also reviewed content by doing a Quiz-Quiz-Trade activity. Then, they got to complete a graphic organizer and write based on what they had learned. They had a lot of collaboration and literacy development opportunities! #CrosBees #Collaboration

Ms. Clark had a super engaging book tasting experience with first graders during Library class! At Starbooks, they got to "taste" books related to community helpers that are later going to be used in their research projects.
