Mrs. Garay and Ms. Mercado's classes learned new vocabulary words for their current story, Alexander, Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday. They are working on making predictions for what the words mean and then they glue the actual meanings next to each prediction. Finally, students have to find a matching picture. Students can then use their homemade dictionaries to help them understand our book! #CrosBees

Kindergarteners learned about value using grey value scales this week in Art Class. After learning how to draw their own cats they used stippling techniques to paint a cat. #CrosBees
The students in Mrs. Stark's class learned about what the character in a story is. They read the book "Creepy Carrots" and then made their own creepy carrot characters to practice fine motor skills and to show their creativity. #CrosBees
